Course Overview

This hour-long continuing education (CE) course on women and CVD is presented by Dr. Sharonne Hayes, Mayo Clinic cardiologist and expert in sex and gender-based cardiology. In this course, Dr. Hayes discusses the differences in CVD presentation in women and men, covers new research regarding spontaneous coronary artery dissection in women, and highlights the role of risk factor management in the prevention of CVD.
