JCN We are delighted to announce that The Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing (JCN), long listed in the Science Citation Index, has received its first impact factor.  JCN, with an impact factor of 1.47, is listed 9th out of 60 journals!  PCNA is quite proud of this accomplishment because JCN has ranked in the top 10 with its first rating.  We thank you for your support of the JCN and we hope that you will continue to submit quality manuscripts and encourage your colleagues and students to do the same.  It is only through the submission of high quality manuscripts that are cited by others that JCN can continue to be rated so highly.

The Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing is the leading professional journal for cardiovascular nurses, and the official journal of PCNA. Members receive subscriptions to two bimonthly peer-reviewed journals: Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing (JCN) and American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine (AJLM).

Join PCNA and save! The standard subscription rate is $96, but PCNA members receive JCN and many other clinical tools and educational opportunities for only $75 in annual membership dues.

JCN provides thorough coverage of timely topics that support nursing excellence and evidence-based practice. Regular columns include Progress in Prevention (written by PCNA), By the Bedside, Pharmacology, Dysrhythmias, and Outcomes Research.

In each issue, you will find a section devoted exclusively to PCNA news, which regularly includes information on membership, educational opportunities, new clinical tools, advocacy issues, and other important association updates.
