Welcome to the PCNA Geriatric Nursing pages!
PCNA is partnering with the John A. Hartford Foundation
Institute for Geriatric Nursing and 13 hospital-based specialty
nursing associations representing over 200,000 specialty
nurses on a collaborative effort called REASN (Resourcefully
Enhancing Aging in Specialty Nursing). REASN is a 4-year
project, started in 2007 by the Hartford Institute for Geriatric
Nursing, New York University College of Nursing and funded
by The Atlantic Philanthropies (USA) Inc.
Our goal is to resourcefully create new and sustainable
geriatric educational products and resources and assure
the geriatric competence of our members. The PCNA site will
provide you with the latest news in the field of geriatric
nursing and link you to www.ConsultGeriRN.org
where you will find clinical tools and tips for treating
geriatric patients.
